The last real tough guy to play in the NBA was Ron Artest, who now goes by the name Meta World Peace, and before him, Reggie Miller or Danny Ainge. The NBA today is full of fake tough guys who want to 'pretend to fight' instead of boxing each-other out for rebounds.

Well, last night a fight broke out and on the outside it seems like a pretty big deal. There aren't many fights in the NBA and when there are people take notice, so last night when Joel Embiid and Towns ended up on the ground rolling around, people took notice.

Take a look for yourself.

The short is that Towns was getting bullied all game and Embiid being the talker he is was prolly jawing at him all night, and eventually Townes got fed up. Pretty standard stuff right? Well, if you look closely you can see Ben Simmons on the ground holding Towns in a chokehold to the point where Towns tries to tap out like it were a wrestling match.

If you've ever been in a fight or have had a friend get into a fight, everybody knows you go for the other guy when trying to deescalate things. But what Simmons did was just weak, hoping on top after the fight is over and throwing a hold on someone, weak.

But what's even weaker is all the fake chest bumping that happens after the game, on social media where this dudes don't just act tough, they are tough (kidding).

This is rich, considering he got worked over by Embiid and then tapped out while under Simmons, but GO OFF KING! YAS.

And this is Joel Embiid's response.

In conclusion, we have decided that basketball players might just be the biggest (both literally and figuratively) babies in all of sports. No punches, just some holding and falling and a whole lot of shit talk after a less and eventful fight. The only person who showed and gusto is Simmons and even his move was weak as hell.
